With more than 63,000 residents, the Town of Greenwich is one of the largest towns in Connecticut. The Town is governed through Representative Town Meeting and a Board of Selectmen.  The Town enjoys an extremely large volunteer base that supports a wide array of community boards and associations.  Greenwich’s large business base is highly responsive to community needs and actively supports many events and nonprofit organizations.

Greenwich is serviced by the MetroNorth New Haven line with rail stations in central Greenwich, Cos Cob, Riverside, and Old Greenwich.  Amtrak can be easily accessed in neighboring Stamford.  Buses run throughout the town, as does taxi service. By car, Greenwich has multiple exits off Interstate 95 and the Merritt Parkway. LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark Airports can be easily reached by car; Westchester County Airport runs alongside Greenwich’s border.
